Grammar explanation-语法解释
Conditionals describe the result of a certain condition. The if clause tells you the condition (If you study hard) and the main clause tells you the result (you will pass your exams). The order of the clauses does not change the meaning.条件描述了特定条件的结果。 if 子句告诉您条件（如果您努力学习），主子句告诉您结果（您将通过考试）。子句的顺序不会改变含义。
If you study hard, you will pass your exams.如果你努力学习，你就会通过考试。
You will pass your exams if you study hard.如果你努力学习，你就会通过考试。
Conditional sentences are often divided into different types.条件句通常分为不同类型。
Zero conditional-零条件
We use the zero conditional to talk about things that are generally true, especially for laws and rules.我们使用零条件来谈论一般正确的事情，尤其是法律和规则。
If I drink too much coffee, I can’t sleep at night.如果我喝太多咖啡，我晚上就睡不着。
Ice melts if you heat it.如果你加热冰就会融化。
When the sun goes down, it gets dark.当太阳落山时，天就黑了。
The structure is: if/when + present simple >> present simple.结构是：if/when + 一般现在时 >> 现在简单。
First conditional-第一个条件
We use the first conditional when we talk about future situations we believe are real or possible.当我们谈论我们认为真实或可能的未来情况时，我们使用第一个条件。
If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, we’ll go to the beach.如果明天不下雨，我们就去海滩。
Arsenal will be top of the league if they win.如果阿森纳获胜，他们将位居联赛榜首。
When I finish work, I’ll call you.当我完成工作后，我会给你打电话。
In first conditional sentences, the structure is usually: if/when + present simple >> will + infinitive. 第一个条件句的结构通常是：if/when + 一般现在时 >> will + 不定式。
It is also common to use this structure with unless, as long as, as soon as or in case instead of if.这种结构也很常见，可以与 except、as long as、asoon as 或 in case 一起使用，而不是 if。
I’ll leave as soon as the babysitter arrives.保姆一到我就走。
I don’t want to stay in London unless I get a well-paid job.除非我找到一份高薪工作，否则我不想留在伦敦。

You can go to the party, as long as you’re back by midnight.只要你在午夜前回来就可以去参加聚会。
Second conditional-第二个条件
The second conditional is used to imagine present or future situations that are impossible or unlikely in reality.第二个条件用于想象现实中不可能或不太可能的当前或未来情况。
If we had a garden, we could have a cat.如果我们有一个花园，我们就可以养一只猫。
If I won a lot of money, I’d buy a big house in the country.如果我赢了很多钱，我就会在乡下买一栋大房子。
I wouldn’t worry if I were you.如果我是你，我就不会担心。
The structure is usually: if + past simple >> + would + infinitive. 结构通常为：if + 过去简单>>+ would + 不定式。
When if is followed by the verb be, it is grammatically correct to say if I were, if he were, if she were and if it were. However, it is also common to hear these structures with was, especially in the he/she form.当 if 后面接动词 be 时，说 if I were、if he were、if she were 和 if it was 在语法上是正确的。然而，这些结构与 was 一起听到也很常见，尤其是在 he/she 形式中。
If I were you, I wouldn’t mention it. 如果我是你，我就不会提这件事。
